I called her.
March 17 Learn Thai conversation for free with audio.
The lesson on March 16 I talked about..... 'to go to see someone'
"to go to see [someone]" in Thai language we say "bpai hăa" (ไปหา..)
And how about 'to call to someone'
to call someone (verb)or telephone(noun) is too-ra-sàp (โทรศัพท์)
"to call someone" is "too(ra-sàp) bpai hăa..." (โทรศัพท์ไปหา..)
It is like your voice go to see someone instead of your body.
So....
I called her. = pŏm too(ra-sàp) bpai hăa káo
ผมโทร(ศัพท์)ไปหาเขา [male speaker]
And If 'someone calls you' It would be 'too(ra-sàp) maa hăa...'
โทร(ศัพท์)มาหา
She called me. = káo too(ra-sàp) maa hăa pŏm
เขาโทร(ศัพท์)มาหาผม [male speaker]
