Classifier for people, person

"kon" means people,person
kon Thai (คนไทย) = Thai people
kon dee (คนดี) = a good person
"kon" also used as a classifier for people, person
We use classifier in many ways. In this case we use for 'counting'
The word "friend" in Thai language we say pêuan (เพื่อน)
"Two friends" we say "pêuan sǒrng kon
(เพื่อนสองคน)
I have two friends. chán mee pêuan sǒrng kon
(ฉันมีเพื่อนสองคน) [ female speaker]
The word "son" in Thai language we say "lûuk-chaai" (ลูกชาย)
"Three sons" we say "lûuk-chaai sǎam kon" (ลูกชายสามคน)
I have three sons. = pŏm mee lûuk-chaai sǎam kon
(ผมมีลูกชายสามคน) [ male speaker]
