The word "têe"(ที่) in Thai language means " at , in " [prepostion]
For example :
chán gèrt têe grung-tâyp
ฉันเกิดที่กรุงเทพฯ I was born in Bangkok. (female speaker)
"têe"(ที่) can also mean " that,which,who,where " [relative pronoun]
It is used to refer to people,things and places.
For example :
nêe bpen năng-sěu têe pŏm séu mêua-waan-née
นี่เป็นหนังสือที่ผมซื้อเมื่อวานนี้
(This is the book that I bought yesterday.)(male speaker)
bâan têe pŏm yùu lék mâak
บ้านที่ผมอยู่เล็กมาก
(The house where I live is so small.)(male speaker)
And "têe"(ที่) can use with verbs or adjectives of emotion [ happy,sorry,angry, etc.]
chán dee-jai têe kun maa
ฉันดีใจที่คุณมา
(I am glad that you came.) (female speaker)
For the word "wâa"(ว่า) is similar to the word" that.... " in English.
We use the word
"wâa" after "verb of thinking or saying" [to say,to speak, to think,
to hope, etc.] or "perception" [to know, to understand, to feel, etc.]
For example :
chán kít wâa paa-săa-Thai mâi yâak
ฉันคิดว่าภาษาไทยไม่ยาก (I think that Thai language is not difficult.)
