The first time
April 4 Learn Thai language online for free. It is easy and fun.
'The first time, first time' in thai language we say "kráng-râek" (ครั้งแรก)
" kráng" ครั้ง means "time or occassion" and "a classifier for time"
" .....râek " ......แรก means "first....."
The pattern is......
classifier + râek = The first ........
For example
kon + râek = The first person (คนแรก)
" kon" คน means people, person and a classifier for people or person
More examples...
The first time = kráng-râek (ครั้งแรก)
The second time = kráng-têe-sŏrng
(ครั้งที่สอง)
The third time = kráng-têe-săam (ครั้งที่สาม)
